Trust in God and be Faithful in Time of Struggle

This week has been a week of both stress and miracles!

There was a few days where I was realizing that life is going to be a bit different very very soon. That spooked me and I got kinda down in the dumps. I was praying to the Lord to know how to recoup and continue being as upbeat and motivated as possible. One day as I had a rough start, we were walking down this street and we heard a "Hello" from a back yard. There was a lady there and we greeted her back, then she asked "are you from Salt Lake?".."nope!" Eventually she invited us back and we started talking a little more and she started off with "I have a question that no one else has been able to answer, so lets see what you have to say about it, Why are there so many denominations in the world today?" (All that was running through my mind was "wow low hanging fruit much, I love this question!" I was surprised and grateful that the Lord blessed us with a prayer answered with a miracle. We will be seeing this woman on Tuesday.

Around the weekend I again was kinda down and so chatted with my mission President on how I was feeling. He told me to just take that stuff I was worried about and anything else I shouldn't focus on at this time and put it in a box and leave it there until I can chat about it with my stake president. He helped me out a lot minimizing the mass of my worries and thoughts. Doing much better now, don't worry.

Sunday again was another couple of miracles, we had 2 people we weren't expecting to show up who in fact did come to church. One was someone we where already teaching and another someone entirely new! The new investigator told us that she wanted to be baptized even before we taught her...."Okay!"

I have learned a great deal about being able to trust in God and be faithful in times of struggle, but now that knowledge has grown again that as we continue to do that which is good and right, God will bring us light and peace of mind for a season until we are to learn some more things at his hand.

As for being able to have a speaker before I talk I would love it if I had Joshua and Brigham be the speakers before me! That would mean a whole lot!

So who are the ones who want to be at the airport? I will welcome anyone who wishes to come see me at the airport. But they must realize that my time is going to be with family first of course! I can't wait to see everyone I love.

For mother's day I will be available to Skype you at 6 my time so 3:00 your time. Does that work at all? Let me know and I will fit it properly.

Oh how I treasure my time out in the service of God.
Love,
Elder Muirhead
