Let's Talk Turkey (Barrie area)

Dear Family,
Well well Week 9 of actually Serving in Barrie!
This week has been strange, earlier in the week the work was going so slow and nothing really happened which got us down a little, But then we had transfers with our new Zone Leaders Elders Orr and Adams, and we all just rocked our areas. In our area we got 5 new Investigators which is 'so sick'! It feels so weird being the only two who didnt move and had to come in a white washed area again. The new Elders are pretty nice and they are from Alberta, Seattle, and Panama. When I heard Panama I was excited because that's one of the last things I watched at home - Prison Break in the Panama season with Mom and Dad haha.

Um, our investigator Adam has been giving me and Elder B a bunch of rock collection pieces from the reserve. He gave me an amythest for my dreams, labraborite (sp?) for holding auras, and granite for peace. He's a cool guy!

I was so happy to get that care package you guys, It was so SOLID I needed all those things haha the hot pack, the insoles, food obviously and the cards made me smile (Sierra you're a blast, haha)! Colleen's homemade organic cookies were outstanding, we were so grateful! THEY WERE SO GOODDD!!!!! Dad, please tell Bro Arnott I said thank you for the $ he sent to me, it was well spent on food and so kind! And I was happy to get more print out instax pictures from Cheyenne and Josh I want more of everyone to update my photo album (or fill me another fun one too please Mom!)

I'm constantly working on my ability to use the scriptures, talk with as many people as possible and utilize Inspired questions, so far so good but I can't wait to keep progressing. I love the at the end of the week I can look back and see that I have improved alot, its so amazing! The Lord really looks out for you and will give you sound understanding and the spirit as the sons of Mosiah had.

My ward is so sweet, it just took some time to meet everyone but we have such troopers for missionary work! We are being fed quite well now and we have a sister who is working the ward to help get us fed. My days are kinda slow this week but we are pushing through and working hard. We have a chevy cruise, we drive but have a Km limit so we try to walk and bike but mainly walk.
I can only write on Preparation days so when I do have a chance I will see what I can do ;) (wink back Mom)

In my spare time I study and in my personal time...I study more haha I can't learn enough!

Josh, Brigs, Noah, and Lola the Craziest thing happened on Thursday we were leaving our apartment and opened the door to the back of the building and we look and behold!!!....A wild Turkey!! We needed to take it in for a moment, and then I walked around with her. I named her Tabitha the Turkey. I'll send a pic soon I forgot my camera this week ooopppps.

SUPER WEEK!
Keeping the great work moving forward in Toronto,
Love
