It's Christmas Week AHHH! So exciting! The best time of the year!
Kinda strange that it still isn't white at all outside, but at the same time I am fine with a mild winter.
We have been trying to just go to town and win this challenge! Last night we went caroling with some members and it was a blast to visit all these neighbors of theirs, one of them was drunk which led to some fun conversation as well. haha.
Saturday was our ward Christmas breakfast and we got to the church at 6:30 am to go and make pancakes for like 5 hours haha and there was TONS of Sausages that we were to take home. This week we are going to be well fed by the members, we have appointments every day this week, so sick.
Elder Brand and I made some Christmas cards for a bunch of members out here and I will be sending one home as well, unfortunately it will probably be late for Christmas day.
Wednesday was our CTM Christmas Conference and it was a better one than last year for sure. We sang hymns, heard testimonies and had a lot of great discussions. One was about how Christ is the light of the world and how we are to be the candles holding it up, using the atonement in our lives and sharing it to others even by our own countenances especially. I hope that I one day will have a great and powerful countenance of the light of Christ that others may be able to see the workings of the Atonement in someones life and soul. I truly and grateful for the blessed infinite gift of the Son of God, he is the strength and enabling entity by which we are to return to the Father in progressive perfection as we turn to him and become his disciples, keep his commandments, opening our mouths of the truth and standing as a witness in all things.
I am pumped to be seeing your faces on Friday at 4pm (1pm your time).
