Dear Family,
The week before I left Bowmanville our zone all learned the Haka from Elder Mukund from Fiji, I got the video of it as well it was sick! I've sent it to your dropbox so you can see it.
Week one in Cambridge! The population is a lot bigger here then compared to Bowmanville which makes me so excited! Elder Trump has been out on his mission for 3 transfers now and has always been here. Yes everyone including myself have made political jokes due to his last name, in good fun of course. He is from Texas, me and him are hitting it off great, he is like another Elder Toly to me a baby brother! YAY!
The members here are very nice and are anxious for getting the work done. Our ward mission leader is a very motivated guy in the work, he has been throwing down on 20+ lessons a week (which is the goal) and then he said that if we weren't doing anything call him and he will assist in getting us appointments haha so awesome!
Last night we had one of the most awkward member appointments ever. The sisters in Cambridge were taken out when I got here so we were invited to go and take a dinner appointment. When we got there the mom opened the door and barely talked to us, we came in sat down in the living room with the kids and mom. They just sat their quietly until I tried to ask questions and tell jokes and be friendly....limited results haha. Dinner same thing and after we had a spiritual thought which was great, yet none of the family had a twitch to their still emotionless faces.... Afterwards we got in the car looked at each other and both were saying "wow that was weird what the heck haha." Makes for a good story, maybe they just love sisters only haha.
I got the package last week as I was packing to come here, excellent timing! Thank you so much I thought it was super cute!
I have been praying for you all the get better these last few weeks! and still will.
Love you!
