Handwritten letters on Sunday and Fat Cats

Hello Family! I am glad as well to be able to write to my most important people in the world! I have set a goal this week that on Sundays I will be writing and sending off a hand written letter, because I am a terrible person and haven't done that already ahaha, lets just say I am repenting.

Pneumonia huh that is so brutal you guys! My poor crew is dying off, hope you are better soon, so that I don't have to embrace you at the airport in a radiation suit or something haha.

We are trying to work as hard as we can out here, I can feel that there are so many injured souls out here that need the gospel, I pray and fast that we may find the prepared ones that are ready to come unto the Lord. The other day we went to visit a former investigator who was from Vietnam. He let us come and visit with him for a while, unfortunately he believes that the Book of Mormon doesn't talk about Christ and he was getting kind of negative and he eventually said "show me something in there that talks about Christ!" Of course I was already frustrated with this man already and yet held my composure and reached for a Book of Mormon and randomly opened up the book to miraculously 3 Nephi 11 without trying haha. He read it and continued to contradict it. Eventually I had to tell him that he will never find anything of use to him if he continues to look at all the negatives that don't even exist there, and that he misunderstood. He agreed to reading the chapter and praying about it. we will leave him to the Lord for now, yet it was interesting seeing how I handled it compared to how I might have about a year ago. Man I am grateful to be a vessel for the Lord, so cool. I'm growing.

This week we went to go try and visit a member family to set up an appointment, as they opened the door a really fat cat came on out and tried to escape. It took a nice tackle to get this cat yet I got him, and picked up his big bum and threw him in the house haha probably a 40 pound cat or something.

And Yes Mom, I am working out haha, even though I don't have my dojo and gym anymore :(

Favorite scripture huh? Lately I have loved reading Words of Mormon 1:6-9, also Ether 4:11-15, 18-19.

Wishing you all a great week! Spring is almost here! yay!
Love you,
Elder Muirhead
