Cute Lola pictures! isn't it crazy that our little munchkin is turning 6!
This week we have been a little slower in the work, but yet super excited for the Christmas season. As of yesterday the church released its new Christmas.mormon.org website and it's new video. They also have great cards to hand out for this "a Saviour is born" Initiative.
We had an interesting experience where we were wanting to go out and contact, but we felt like we were struggling and Elder Brand prayed that we would be able to do it, as a result the first man we saw and spoke to was a very drunken man. He we crying and talking jibber jabber but we continued to reach out to help him, but he was not conscious enough to understand what we were talking about. It was quite sad to see this man struggling so much and thinking on how the enabling power of the Atonement will be able to help him with his problems. Yet what a blessing and answer to our prayers because after talking to this intoxicated man we were able to speak to everyone else.
I am so grateful for this year of my mission I have been able to really focus on applying the Atonement and understanding its purposes for me personally. I have spent much time on my knees trying to help others and myself to build ion Christlike attributes which have a been a huge focus on my studies from this year. I have been able to change little by little and am glad at the reformation of the person that I am currently. I love being able to constantly share the First vision with people and also the great message of the Saviour's Atonement. I pray that the Lord may use me to accomplish all he needs me for in the next 5-6 months of my mission.
It is a beginning of a new transfer and I am remaining here in Bowmanville with Elder Brand still for the Christmas season! YAY!
I pray all the time for all of you and for your well beings, I thank God for the growth that I have been able to see in each of your lives and that you all have been able to come so far from when I left.
This last week I had a pinched nerve in my shoulder which sucked!! So I needed to go and get some things to try and support it as I go about my day. Thank you so much for being able to help me to look after myself I am so glad that I have a mom and dad that assist in every aspect whether in person and in spirit. Glad that the spirit told you to help me out with funds for that....and food!
Mom how are you feeling from your previous fall are you improving at all?
Wow Amanda is engaged? I don't know Dylan well, but he seems like a cool guy. Everyone is getting hitched that is so awesome!!

A scripture that I have been thinking about a lot this week has been D&C 82:7-10. I continually think of improvements and I know that the Lord keeps his promises when we too live our end of the deal and go out working hard expecting the miracle and trusting in the Lord's power to achieve all things. It allows us to continually be lifted to a higher plan spiritually and we are able to be forgiven for our slothfulness. I wish to be able to continue strong and do the will of God.
